Bonus Episode: Author Cassie Alexander

Happy Friday, nerds! This week's bonus episode is with author Cassie Alexander, who wrote a book we loved titled "Bend Her".  We got to chat with Cassie about all kinds of nerdy things including alien spider-cats, if she prefers smut or plot, and how she got into writing in elementary school.

Background on Cassie:

Cassie Alexander is a registered nurse and author. She’s written numerous paranormal romances, sometimes with her friend Kara Lockharte. As Cassandra, she’s written the Year of the Nurse: A Covid-19 Pandemic Memoir which has appeared in the Atlantic (The Mass Exodus of America’s Healthcare Workers). She has also contributed to the Huffington Post and the Journal of Patient Safety Authority. As Cassie, she has written several paranormal and fantasy romance books, including her most recent release Bend Her and the upcoming sequel Break Her. She lives in the Bay Area with one husband, two cats, and one million succulents.
