Episode 19: He’s A Shadow Daddy!

Hello fellow nerds! On Season 3, Episode 19 of the podcast, we are continuing our read-a-long of “Gold” by Raven Kennedy with chapters 27-37! This is week two of four episodes for this book.

On this episode, we’ll be discussing the fact that we thought Lydia was an odd name for the capital in Annwyn. So odd that Whitney did a deep dive into the etymology! Next we chat about the section of the book that shows animal fighting, and how bonkers it is that still happens legally IRL in parts of our world. And finally, who in the heck is the assassin? He's making us feel all types of things.

Visit ournerdiestthing.com or instagram.com/ournerdiestthing for our themed cocktail, “Sweet Revenge”, which is themed after unaliving anyone who has ever pissed you off.
